SHANE GABIER
Shane Gabier is a multidisciplinary designer and artist who lives in and works in New York City. He began to work in clay in 2018, first developing functional pieces on the wheel, and in 2020 began to construct sculptural, hand-built forms, both functional and non-functional. His current body of work is focused on the study of form, color, and texture, and pairs utilitarian functionality with ornamental design, informed by modernism, 1970s psychedelia, and Brutalist architecture.![]()
