RAINA LEE
Raina Lee is a Los Angeles-based ceramist and writer. Known for her creative experiments with unique, heavy glazes and nontraditional firing methods, Lee’s ceramics reinterpret classic shapes with layered, unexpected textures and vivid, otherworldly colours. Drawing inspiration from nature, Lee integrates ideas of landscapes into her creations and focuses on the unusual colours that occur within the natural environment. Lee lives and works in Mount Washington, where she runs a small studio, gallery and writing space from her dreamy backyard treehouse.
