These inversion works are an investigation into materiality and the intentional aberration from the conventional canvas. Created by painting and dying the canvas from the reverse side, the result produces a negative form on the other. Each artwork is in fact two entirely unique yet homologous paintings - a conversation between both that the viewer is invited to witness and contemplate.
